Yulia Brodskaya started working as a graphic designer and illustrator in 2006, however quickly abandoned the computer programs in favour of paper art: “Paper always held a special fascination for me. I’ve tried many deferent methods and techniques of working with it until I found the way that has turned out to be ‘the one’ for me: now I draw with paper instead of on it”.
She is frequently invited to speak at design conferences and design schools around the world: the talks include renowned Friends of St Bride Library Conference, Guardian’s The art of Illustration masterclasses. In 2015 she has been invited to be a member of D&AD New Blood jury.
The original paper artworks are owned by Oprah Winfrey, Ferrero, Hermés, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Hermes, Paramount Pictures, Country Music Association, Wimbledon, Mr Issey Miyake and numerous private collectors. ► https://wooarts.com/yulia-brodskaya-quilling/
