Mandrake is a strange and very rare plant in the world.

The mandrake is the root of a plant, derived historically either from plants of the genus Mandragora found in the Mediterranean region or from other species, such as Bryonia alba, the English mandrake, which have similar properties. The plants from which the root is obtained are also called "mandrake". Mediterranean mandrakes are perennial herbaceous plants with oval leaves arranged in a rosette, a thick, erect rootstock, often branched, and bell-shaped flowers followed by yellow or orange berries. So when they extract it.. they would tie a very strong animal and often a dog with the plant so that they would not be exposed to any harm while the dog dies. The movie “Harry Potter” had previously dealt with this plant.
