How to transfer your website to another host?

The most convenient way to transfer your website’s files to your new web hosting account is via FTP. You should connect to your hosting account and download the files locally to your computer. Then upload them to your new hosting account’s main folder (usually public_html, www or httpdocs).

How to upload files using the FileZilla FTP client

FileZilla is a powerful and free software for transferring files over the Internet. It is a very popular FTP client and is used by webmasters from all over the world. Here you can download FileZilla software. FileZilla is fully compatible with our hosting services.  Once you have the FileZilla client downloaded and activated on your computer open it. 

Now you can use quick connect by adding your Hosting info as shown below:

Host: Add your website ex"ftp://kenzly.eu"  - or if you use SSL type "sftp:kenzly.eu"

• User Name: cPanel user name
  Password: cPanel Password
• port: can be empty or type 21 or 22

Maybe you get popup screen  to confirm connect click yes

You will be connected to your hosting account and on the right side of the FTP client window, you will see a list of all the files and folders on your account.

Your website files will be found in public_html folder. On the left side, panel navigate to the location on your computer where you want to download the files. On the right-side panel navigate to the folder on your hosting account from where you want to download the files and select the ones you want to download. Right-click on them and choose Download. "you can Drag it by your mouse to your computer folder"

The download of the files will begin automatically. Once it is completed you will see the downloaded files on the desired folder on your computer.

How to upload files using the FileZilla FTP client

Now you use the same steps, log in to new your website by Filezilla FTP client. go to Publich_html folder in the new site Then, select one or more files from the left side panel (your computer) to be uploaded and right-click on them. From the menu that shows up, click on Upload or Drag files by mouse.

Please note if you are using any database file"SQL files" you have to download them from Cpanel and upload it again to your new website.
